2023 Delta Invasive Species Symposium

Save the Date and Call for Abstracts

Save the date for the fifth biennial Delta Invasive Species Symposium, Making Connections: Understanding Connectivity in an Invaded Estuary. The Symposium will take place at California Natural Resources Agency headquarters in downtown Sacramento on November 30, 2023.

In addition to invited speakers, the Delta Interagency Invasive Species Coordination (DIISC) Team requests submission of abstracts for 5-minute lightning talks that explore the theme of connection broadly as it relates to invasion, from ecological connectivity to connections among actors in the Bay-Delta’s social-ecological system. Lightning talk presenters must attend in person. To be considered, please submit an abstract by 11:59 p.m. on September 30, 2023, via this form: https://forms.office.com/g/iyYbHxbYBM.
